LISA
A native of Buffalo, NY, Lisa relocated to the Lowcountry in 2006 after graduating college at SUNY Brockport where she completed her Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Biology. In 2005 she graduated from the Rochester Institute of Dog grooming in Henrietta, NY and has been grooming for 20 years. After working at several small salons, she established Paw-metto Pooches Pet Salon in October of 2008 and officially opened our doors in January of 2009.
She is owned by 3 rescue animals - A little old lady Carolina Dog mix named Honeybee, a wild child terrier mix named Shanti and a chonky orange cat named Frank.
She enjoys cheering on the Buffalo Bills, watching Judge Judy, bowling and playing tennis, and is an active volunteer and foster for One Love Animal Rescue.
Random Fun Fact - She has a cochlear implant!
JILLIAN
Born and raised in Roanoke, VA, Jillian moved to the Lowcountry area in 2000 to raise her family. She began her career with animals as a Veterinary Assistant at several local veterinary clinics before discovering her passion for grooming. She has worked in the pet grooming industry for 19 years and has been our salon manager for 13 years, specializing in double coated breeds. The hairier the better, she says!
She is owned by six frisky cats - Otter, April, Alf, Zoom, Red and Scout.
She enjoys cruising on the Royal Caribbean, mowing her lawn and playing Township on her iPad (if anyone wants to join her co-op her code is #JES3ZW).
Random Fun Fact - She has stayed 29 every birthday and is a grandma!
ALISON
Alison relocated to the Lowcountry in 2022 from Stamford, CT. She began her grooming career in 2017 at a veterinary hospital in Westchester, NY after leaving the field of human hairdressing. She enjoys all breeds of dogs, specializing in Poodles, Doodles, and curly coats.
She is owned by a special needs cat named Binx, a cat named Wendy Cheeseburger whom she and her fiancé rescued from a Wendy's dumpster, an Australian tree frog named Pudding and a ferret named Stinky.
She enjoys fishing, watching Twilight and collects anime figures. She is also a mineral/crystal connoisseur.
Random Fun Fact - Alison is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts!
CAM
Cam moved to the Lowcountry with her family as a small child from Asheville, NC. She has spent 8 years working in various areas of the pet care industry. She has experience in kennel management/maintenance, pet sitting, dog walking and is currently pursuing her grooming career.
She enjoys reading fantasy novels, playing video games and baking.
Random Fun Fact - Cam is an avid horror movie fanatic!
TORI
Tori was born and raised here in the Lowcountry. She began her career with animals back in 2019 as a kennel technician for Jasper Animal Rescue Mission, eventually working her way up to an animal medical care coordinator position there for the past 5 years. She is highly experienced in animal handling, phlebotomy & vaccine administration, animal training/socialization techniques and kennel management.
She is owned by four dogs - a Rottweiler named Raynaa, a Supermutt named Digger, a Pitbull/Hound mix named Benelli and a Boston Terrier named Bostynn. She also has approximately 30 feral cats and an adoring possom that visit her daily.
In her downtime she enjoys cruising to Bermuda and watching true crime shows and horror movies. Law and Order SVU is her guilty pleasure.
Random Fun Fact - She enjoys bottle feeding orphaned animals and at one time had 16 bottlefed kittens - all of which survived!
KAYLEE
A native of the Atlanta area, Kaylee is homeschooled and actively participates in a regional debate team, traveling across Georgia and South Carolina to compete.
Outside of her academic pursuits, Kaylee also shares her passion for children as a secondary instructor in the Kids Club program at Victory Baptist Church. Her strong work ethic and natural connection with animals make her a perfect fit for our team.
She is owned by an energetic and very eager to please Plott Hound mix named Gracie and a laid-back guinea pig named Harley.
Kaylee is passionate about animal care and aspires to become a professional dog trainer one day.

CARRIE
Born and raised in Newport, KY, Carrie relocated to the South Carolina Lowcountry in 2006. She brings over 12 years of experience working with animals, with a strong background in both medical and managerial roles. Most recently, Carrie served as an Assistant Medical Coordinator and Manager at a local animal shelter, where she oversaw daily operations and ensured the highest standard of care for the animals.
Outside of work she enjoys watching NCIS, crafting adorable fairy gnome gardens and appreciates quiet moments soaking her feet in the river and taking in the natural beauty of the Lowcountry.
She is owned by three rescue dogs - a lazy Rottweiler named Buddha and two Supermutts named Magnus and Gypsy along with five sprited cats named Essence, Freya, Alpha, Murphy and Gibbs.
Random Fun Fact - Carrie is the great granddaughter of a KY coalminer and is an Honorary Kentucky Coal Baroness!
